Hi Chris,
The standard Bug wing center chord is already 7".
You probably already know that when you increase the wingspan that much, you're talking about redesigning the whole glider. Someone else already did this. Why not get a Gambler? You might add a T or X tail and replace the balsa pod with a little nipper pod like your bugger - instant Bugger 2.
