Subject: Great Day
Yesterday, April 18, was an unusally good lift day here in New Jersey. For the last year, the longest flight I could get with my 4 ounce 35" span bug was 5:25 minutes. I must have had a half dozen flights between 4 minutes and the 5:25 minutes flight. The field was dry - hadn't rained in a week. The night before was cold (in the low 40's) and the high temp for the day was around 80 degrees with light winds. Perfect conditions. My third flight was a 7:15 flight. The fifth flight was a 11:35. The bug was at near speck out altitude around half that long flight. Fantastic. I couldn't believe it. Anyone else getting long flights? John
