That way of looking at it which Jim used is the easiest:
- for rudder think of the surfaces as if both were rotated to
vertical...
- for elevator rotate them to horizontal.
Anyay, using that up/down parlance, right rudder means left goes up
and right goes down, opposite from what you wrote, Cliff.
