Curiosity has led me to take a small DLG. Taking into account the simplicity of construction and cheapness, the choice fell on the BUG with plans;

I took on the easiest elements, ie horizontal and vertical tail which I made of balsa 1.5 m / m, hull beam with carbon tube 4 / 3m / m

100_1142.JPG

the base of the horizontal ballast is a piece of 10th balsa and after gluing finished polished. Unfortunately, the tube I had was too short and I had to paste it into the middle of the piece of the carbon rod. / żywica epoxy /

100_1143.JPG

The right hull is made from the bottom with a balsa slat 1.5 m / m, the sides of the balsa hull 2m / m, frames with balsa 4's.

I glued the whole with medium CA glue.

100_1144.JPG

Hull of the whole-body hull The upper part of the hull covered with balsa 1.5 in which I made the hatch to the equipment.

It did not work without expanding the hull and changing its height, but it is only about 5m / m, nothing more changing, due to the ease of holding the package, the BEC and the receiver which has vertical plugs not horizontally.

100_1148.JPG

Everything is beautiful but problems started because BEC which I own is big Turnigy 5A, it's just big I decided that BEC will do it myself. I bought LM 78 L05 1.5A voltage regulator, for 1.50 PLN, but again bad luck, because they do not have miniature capacitors in the store ceramicznych 330nF i 100nF / I did not want to buy "kulfonów / and the case is standing. What I have tantals 0.47Micro but I do not know if I can use it if and how I can give others. The cube is glued into a neat radiatory.

Continuation of troubles, I had to put in the control of 2 servos 3.7 grams, unfortunately one of them refused to obey. 5-gram is out of the question.

I am going to use carbon rods 0.6 m / m, or use a pull rod with dyneema which I have a few dozen meters, but rather decide on carbon tappets, it's always easier for servos than I think;)

I am left to buy a 3m / m carbon tube as a panel girder and a 3m / m balsa roller for the attack and a foil for covering.

Well, stop STOP with the works because there is a lack of cash at the box office :(

As for servos, I also barely stuffed 3.7g in my own and there is no way that I could put bigger ones.

Maybe your relationship will motivate me to finally finish my own: P

3.7 grams I can now arrange freely one behind the other but in the central part of the panel. I have too large receiver Turnigy TGY-iA6 and place it right at the main gate on the attack of the wing only because of these vertical bolts, under the panel I would not be able to connect the servos. . I want to hang the controller on the flap closing the input to the receiver and the package.

Heniek, what's the bottom of the horizontal ballast? I had it, and after a stronger hitching about, for example, the grass always burst in another place, your DLG will be very light, maybe you will not have a problem with it.

Yes, I do as you say, but it's good to know, I'm gonna let her rare CA, but since I left the computer, I started to make this voltage stabilizer, it carried me and here is the result;

100_1149.JPG

100_1150.JPG

100_1151.JPG

Capacitors are 1mikro tantalki. The weight of this little one is 7 gram. After checking the voltage, it is equal to 5.1V. After an unloaded time everything is cold. See how it will be loaded with servos and there will be some unnecessary sowing. As everything will be OK, as I wrote, in the flap will cut the hole with the dimensions of the radiator and I will paste it, the cooling will be raspberry;)

For now such my intentions and thinking, we will see, maybe someone has experienced

Probably a bad idea, but I will cover the flap with japonką and see how it lata.Przecież is the first model and as no one advises you, you have to learn from mistakes and go it alone. 100gram is probably real. ;) I am already gluing both halves.

After him, I'll go all the way and do the one you mentioned Apogee-sport.

And after fitting the wings, try on

100_1179.JPG

100_1180.JPG

It was left to paste the pins fixing the wing and strengthening the center wing and the pin on the tip and wrap everything. : P

The plans are given 6 ", but I gave 5cm per side. I wished that by polishing I am weakening central ribs which is balsa 3m / m. I have to fly, I think so.;)

As of today, the overall model has been finished and looks like this

100_1182.JPG

100_1183.JPG

100_1184.JPG

100_1185.JPG

the pictures were not the best, but they were made in the corridor.

What remains to be done?!, Replace the pushers on coal, which I do not have and settings on the servos. If the CG given in the plans is appropriate, then the inserted lumber just show what should be. To tell you, I'm not satisfied with the Japanese cover, but not I had a foil that was enough for my tips and I'm afraid my haste would not turn against me.

I am still waiting for advice on how to set the tail, because I think that it is not like in the models with the drive.

The weight of the ready to fly is 103grams. Good bad???

I can't read the text, but the pictures are good. Looks like some nice Bugs are being built in Poland.
