Subject: Bitten by the BUG!
First day out with the bug! Only had a few test flights today but I luv the BUG. Nephew borrowed the scales so I don't know what she weighs but the last estimated weight was 3.6oz. After reading about the cruciform tail in this group, I decided to go that way and I like it. Thanks PJ for the CAD outline in the pictures section. We built three bugs and my nephew stopped working on his but I think that when he get's his eye on mine that he'll finish his. That will leave one. Anyone tried an electric powered bug? I might use my Wattage Lite Stick motor and battery and try it on the left over bug. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Citeren b2kopke <b2kopke@...>: I didn't had the problem with the ribs. ! For an x-tail look at my photo album (Frans. I've used m2 bold's. This way it's easy to change the x-tail "in the field" after a rough landing. I also find that the x-tail improves the control espasially in inverted flights. Subject: rib template inaccuracy
Has anyone had a problem with the rib templates on the plan being too long (causes the spar hole/leading edge to line up too far forward)? Also what is the ideal or easiest method of attaching the X-tail assembly?
