This question has been bugging me a long time and I have been too
embarrassed to ask. What is the difference between carbon fiber and
fiberglass? I can I tell? Which one is heavier? Is tube better than
solid rod for wing spar? I guess it must be lighter and more rigid? I
suspect my solid rod spar is actually fiberglass although I don't
know enough to tell.
