Hi T,
Sounds good, how about that direct drive set that guy's using? I'm
using LiPo's for my indoor planes, 700 mAh at about 35 grams (1,2
oz) so... e-bug 45 min's flying time!?! How about gliding with this
weight? I think it might be possible to put the LiPo pack in the
wing somehow, i haven't build a bug yet so I'm not sure about the
dimensions. The link in this group doesn't take me to the plan,
can't find it on the web either.
Just noticed a sweet thing for this "project":
http://www.aeromicro.com/Catalog/planetary_gearbox__2_0_g__with_5_1_g
ear_ratio_1247318.htm
Don't know if they ship to the Netherlands though. Probably a bit
expensive for just one of these.
So next is indeed to find that folder prop. The normal ones I use on
parkflyers are to heavy, I think I've seen someone who turned a GWS
Slowfly prop into a folder. Worth a try.
Regards,
Richard.
