Basically what you are saying is to put a blank piece of paper in between with the same spacing as the other ribs and to keep the spar hole the same for the w1-w3 ribs and the w7 rib. What other little tricks did you do to get the weight down. I am using 1/16 on the tips and using the 1/8 boom. I also thought about using 1/32 balsa with one layer of glass on either side (not both) and after curing puting some lighting holes in the tail planes. Then using a light weight covering for the holes only. I will have to experiment with the tail to see which is lightest and strongest. I want to be able to do moderate SAL launches. Cut the plan apart at the W3 ribs and tape a piece of paper between the cut. Keep the same spar hole in the W3 rib and the tip rib. The spar holes in the other ribs will have to be located by placing the spar over the ribs and marking them. Also how far did you space the rib out?
