If you have the original plans you see that the airfoil is the Selig 7014. This is a very popular airfoil.
My suggistion was to reduce the thickness to around 8%.

Hi Guys, another question. I have been doing allot of airfoil
comparisons with the current bug airfoil.
So far the closet i have found is Selig/Donovan SD8040
<http://www.ae.illinois.edu/m-selig/ads/coord_database.html> . Ill try
and upload a picture for you guys to have a look at. Maybe John while
you are asking Carl about the legalities of me changing up his original
design, (which im sure he would be happy to have his design evolve and
be super stoked that there is such a cult following of his design) you
could ask what airfoil he used?
Also are there any suggestions for some variations in the airfoil?
Thanks to every one out there for your input so far. It is all
appreciated and its nice to no this is going out all over the world and
hopefully it will be a good little boost to such a beautiful glider.
Like Samson from Rc groups said "it looks like a piece of candy sitting
next to my other models".
