Thanks, John. The tip is 1/8" on a 45' bias. The spar is channeled in almost to the back side. The thumb grip (airfoil shape) is contest balsa notched for the spar and then hand sanded to shape like a Nipper wing tip. The LE is some sort of Asian import that is more like Rattan or something and bent around the entire tip using the "wet one side" technique. I'll secure it with a strap of CF tow to the TE prior to to covering as it's still under a lot of tension. Cheers! I also like to let my ribs into the TE, so I used a wider one and slotted it to accept the ribs. I was out of 1/8" CF for the spar, so I used a Skyshark P100. Those of keen eye will notice that there's an extra rib bay. My LB will be 36-1/2" span. I's turning out a little heavier than I'd like, so the extra square inches will help. > > Good luck to those building! > > Chris in Seattle > > > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] >
