Subject: three minute flight and an explosion
I achieved my best thermal flight so far: three minutes. It never
climbed very high, mostly circling without losing altitude, and just
gradually gaining altitude. I'm still looking for a big one that
carries the Bug up high.
The next day I had a catastrophic fuselage failure on launch (see
photos in the Lace Wing album). The wing survived with one broken
lower rib member.
