Subject: stiffer light weight boom for discus Bugs
If you want a stiffer tailboom for discus launching you can replace the 1/8" carbon tube for the tail boom of your bug, with the Hang-em- high kites' replacement tube for the Skyshark 2p (actually an Avia Sport G-force "Breeze" II) which weighs the same as a 1/8" carbon tube yet is much stiffer. Unfortunately it's also more expensive at $6 per tube. These 30" tubes will make two booms. Hang-em-high also sells 40" 1/8" carbon tubes for $2.80 apiece. http://www.citystar.com/hang-em-high/ushop/index.cgi? ID=YWJKLU&task=show&cat=SPARS+%2d+SkyShark John
