Thanks for the reply. I'm assuming it was similar to tyvek but thinner. Is this right? Does anyone else have an idea for hinges? I still have a small quantity for myself to use for hinges, but the only hope you have of getting some is RC flea markets or maybe a hobby shop that has old stock. If you are a member of an RC club, you might ask some of the older members. One might have some in his old-covering bin. I don't know what you could use as a replacement for hinges.
